Exhibition: La Toilette, Naissance de l’intime
Through this exhibition entitled "La Toilette: Naissance de l'intime" (“The Toilette: birth of intimacy”), the Musée Marmottan Monet retraces the evolution of the artistic theme of the toilette. Throughout the centuries, many artists depicted scenes of toilette and bath, as well as the places where these daily cleanliness rituals are executed. This retrospective covers the subject from the 15th century to nowadays with engravings by Dürer and Primatice, pieces of furniture, pictures, prints, as well as paintings by Georges de La Tour, Manet, Berthe Morisot, Degas and Henri de Toulouse Lautrec. This exhibition also includes sculptures and some intimate domestic scenes by Pierre Bonnard, to the delight of all.

Open Tuesday-Sunday from 10am to 6pm.
Late opening on Thursdays until 9pm.
Closed on Mondays.
Full rate: €11 / Reduced rate (under-18s and students under 25): €6,50 / Free for under-7s.
