Exhibition: De Ingres à Polke
The Petit Palais is hosting seven major paintings from the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Nantes for three months in its permanent collections. The Paris museum is pursuing its program of exchange with large regional museums with this exhibition entitled “From Ingres to Polke”. Closed for renovations until the end of 2016, the museum of Nantes owns a beautiful collection of Western paintings dating from the 13th to 21st centuries. Among the works of art presented: La Ballade de Lénore by Horace Vernet, L’Enfance de Pic de la Mirandole by Paul Delaroche, and the Portrait de Madame de Senonnes by Jean-Dominique Ingres. The selection includes paintings by James Tissot, Jean-Léon Gérôme, Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot and Sigmar Polke as well.

Open Tuesday-Sunday from 10am to 6pm.
Closed on Monday and on bank holidays.
Free entrance.
