Exhibition: Marguerite Humeau
It’s the Palais de Tokyo, located just nearby the Green Hotels Paris, the Eiffel Trocadéro and the Gavarni, that Marguerite Humeau choses for her first personal exhibition. The young woman, born in France in 1986, lives from now on in London where she creates works which are at the borders of fiction and research. Indeed, it suggests to visitors of the museum, both a physical experience but also a sensory one. Through her works, these are myths, fantasies as well as speculations that reveal themselves. For this and each of her creations, Marguerite Humeau works with scientists and experts, to tally with reality to the nearest possible. For this event, she wanted to work on the origin of life and the development of conscious forms of life. By the way, this contemporary art retrospective will be heading to London then, where it will be unveiled at the Nottingham Contemporary, from October 2016 to January 2017.
