From September 21st till October 13th, 2017, the choreographer Blanca Li is hosted by the Théâtre National de Chaillot for her new show "Solstice". Blanca Li wishes with her new creation, to draw attention to a subject she holds dear, the protection of the environment. Very different from her last show "Robots" presented in 2013, she stated nevertheless that she considers her new show a continuity of the last one, a way of binding man and nature together. For this new work, the 14 dancers of the artist’s troop, led by the choreographer and her scenographer Pierre Attrait, portray the elements successively (clouds, earth, sky and wind). This choreography focused on nature is performed on a music made up of natural sounds created by composer Tao Gutierrez, with whom Blanca Li has already collaborated. This modern and responsible performance which calls for the preservation of the planet is available only a few-minute walk away from the Green Hotels Paris, the Eiffel Trocadéro and the Gavarni.
