L’Été du Canal Festival: 11th edition dedicated to street art

The atmosphere promises to be hot this summer 2018 all along the Canal de l’Ourcq and Saint-Denis. The 11th edition of the festival L'Été du Canal returns with an artistic and ambitious novelty: a 10-kilometre long exhibition of street art and open-air contemporary art. It has been realized in partnership with the prestigious Studio Harcourt on the theme of light and black and white, under the artistic direction of Marko93. Twenty artists have dressed facades of buildings, barges, fences or riverbanks with stencils, collages, paintings and other sculptures. Dense and rich, the festival’s program offers many other activities for all ages, including river shuttles leaving from the bassin de la Villette. The festival-goers will also benefit from a hundred cruises with various themes (discovery, escapade, cinema, gourmet, musical). See you on July 7th for the beggining of the festivities!
