The restaurants of the Maison du Danemark have been given a new look

As of the beginning of this year, the two restaurants of the Maison du Danemark, Flora Danica and Copenhague, set on the Champs-Elysées avenue, have been given a new look and unveil a new decoration realised by the Danish tandem GamFratesi.

Flora Danica
The brewery of the Maison du Danemark, Flora Danica, has been rethought by the architect couple Stine Gam and Enrico Fratesi, in a contemporary style. Here, the bar is made of marble in emerald-green colour, the floor of chevrons of Carrara marble and green marble, in different shades of grey. Walls are covered with reprints of geometric and botanical patterns. Concerning the menu card, we can visit the Flora Danica all day long, have a breakfast, lunch or dinner. Special mention to the selections of herring (with curry, pickled…) and to the salmon (smoked, gravadlachs, pickled, tartar) which allow you to discover one of the specialities of the Danish kitchen: fish.

Copenhague
The Danish gastronomic restaurant Copenhague has been rethought in a more filtered atmosphere, in blue shades. The tablecloths are thus deep blue coloured and the leathers dark blue. It highlights the white china plates created especially by the porcelain factory Royal Copenhagen. The kitchen team is led by the young Danish chef Andreas Møller who realizes delicacies according to his aspirations of the moment. This way, we can taste garlic and elderflower calf sweetbread, pepper and horseradish Label Rouge salmon, or black chocolate for desert with arbutus bays and fresh cheese.

This genuine invitation to explore the Danish culinary and design art of living is to live just a few metro stations away from the Green hotels Paris, the Eiffel Trocadéro and the Gavarni.
