Maurice Béjart – Ballet

The Opera Ballet presents three pieces,  created in the 70´s , that stand out thanks to their intense  choreography and their musicality. The Firebird, imagined for the danseurs of the Company, is an ode to youth to the sound of Stravinsky’s powerful score. Written for two male dancers, the Song of the Wandering Companion, is an intimist work to to a cycle of Mahler’s lieder, which reveals Bejart’s rigour and gracefulness. And finally, the mythic Bolero marries Ravel’s eponymous score.
