Le Lab by AV: l’Abattoir Végétal’s vegan and vegetarian caterer

In April 2017, we introduced you to l’Abattoir Végétal, a hybrid place which combines a vegetarian and vegan restaurant, a coffee shop, a grocer's shop and a juice bar. One year after its creation, l’Abattoir Végétal expanded to welcome its new catering and workshop space: Le Lab by AV.

A caterer for businesses and individuals
After the success of L’Abattoir Végétal, its founder Ava Lagatta wished to convert more people to her values of responsible and healthy consumption. A few steps away from L’Abattoir, she inaugurated Le Lab by AV, a vegan and vegetarian caterer which offers takeaway boxes to those in a hurry, consisting of dishes from l’Abattoir Végétal’s menu. Le Lab also concocts buffets and vegan or vegetarian tray meals for professionals and individuals.

Culinary and zero-waste workshops
In a warm atmosphere, Le Lab by AV also organises plant-based cooking workshops to introduce aspiring or experienced chefs to salty and vegan recipes or gluten-free and vegan baking. Another particularity of the Lab: the “zero-waste” workshops where one can learn how to salvage and recycle food scraps (seeds, peels etc.), in order to avoid waste! A remarkable initiative which the Green Hotels Paris, the Eiffel Trocadéro and the Gavarni greatly appreciate.

Open from Tuesday to Saturday from 9a.m. to 6p.m. and on Sunday from 9a.m. to 4p.m.
Closed on Monday.
Daily specials: Starter + Main course or Main course + Dessert: €15.5 / Starter + Main course + Dessert: €18.
Caterer’s box: Tray meal starter + main course + dessert + juice: €29.90.
Culinary workshops: €100 per customer (3 hours).
