The Fête de la Gastronomie is back for its 6th edition

From September 23rd to 25th, 2016, the Fête de la Gastronomie comes back for its 6th edition. Sponsored this year by author and journalist of culinary documentaries Éric Roux, the topic is the popular cuisines. The meal is ready!

Gastronomy in all its forms
For three days, cooking workshops, tastings, screenings, debates, exhibitions or markets will be following one another in order to discover these much talked about popular cuisines. They are those of the everyday life, that we do with our family or between friends enhancing regional products and drawing from flavours from around the world. At the heart of the 16th arrondissement—just nearby the Green Hotels Paris, the Eiffel Trocadéro and the Gavarni—several activities are organised. It is the case of the Androuet cheese shop—located in Passy quarter—where Alberto Do Rasario will be telling you the Saint-Nectaire’s history, this traditional cheese from the Auvergne region with a soft texture, followed by a tasting.

Finally, let’s head to the Café Dapper Loïc Dablé—located in the Musée Dapper— where African cooking classes are concocted for young and old alike, among which the last one is with humorist Claudia Tagbo. Lots of laughs and greed are guaranteed!
