The Eiffel tower dresses up for winter

Since December 15th, 2017, and until February 18th, 2018, the terrace of the 1st floor of the Eiffel tower is turned into an ice floe to welcome its visitors in a stylish and magical decor reminiscent of “Frozen”. Indeed, the winter terrace of the old iron lady accommodates a family of giant penguins made of facet mirrors, set up amidst massive quartz crystals. A 5-meter-high Eiffel tower was also installed, completely covered with silvery mirrors, nested in the heart of a forest of white birches and black fir trees. To revel in the beauty and magic of winter up to the end, one can enjoy a gourmet break at Cacao Corner (the terrace bar turned into an iceberg specially for the occasion). Hot chocolate, waffles and other delicacies await children, young and old, just a few-minute walk away from the Green Hotels Paris, the Eiffel Trocadéro and the Gavarni.
