World leaders agree to draft a « historical » treaty

175 countries , assembled by the United Nations Assembly for the Environment ( UNAE ) have passed a resolution which will open the way to a global treaty to eradicate plastic pollution. This text, which will be legally binding , is considered as a main step concerning environment since the Paris agreements in 2015.
