Gustave Eiffel's Paris (1832-1923)
This installation within the permanent collections puts the Iron Lady and the
Statue of Liberty in dialogue and unveils the different facets of Eiffel the
entrepreneur, engineer, and scientist.
The presentation of various prints, photographs, digital tools, objects, and
models explores Eiffel's Parisian life, his workshops, his collaborators, his
masterpieces, and the modernity he brought to the capital.
