Caribbean atmosphere for La Parisienne 2017
The 2017 edition of the running race La Parisienne will be held from September 8th to 10th, 2017. This is one of the biggest sporting events of the capital city. This race exclusively feminine will receive between 30,000 and 40,000 participants, being a beginner or a high-level sportswoman. You will be able to see anonymous but also Olympic medallist like Elodie Clouvel (Pentathlon) or Isabelle Severino (Gymnastics). The running race will start at the Iéna bridge, at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, near from the Green Hotels Paris, the Eiffel Trocadéro and the Gavarni. The official departure of the first round of runners is expected for 9:45.a.m., then rounds will be launched every 7 minutes. With an itinerary longer than the past years, the participants will run 7 kilometres, while passing by the Palais de Tokyo, the Champs-Elysées or even the quai Branly-Jacques Chirac Museum for an arrival in the heart of the Champ-de-Mars.
La Parisienne makes you travel
This year, this sporting event has for theme the Caribbean, with tropical settings and musicians who will play in live every 250 meters of the race. In total, more than 1,000 artists will play to honour the Caribbean. Installed on the Champ-de-Mars, La Parisienne’s Village is free and open to everyone, men like women. It will propose concerts, fitness and dance lessons (salsa, reggaeton, merengue, bachata), a photography exhibition and a Caribbean fashion show. Worthy of a true festival, you will have fun, laugh, share and exchange with your relatives, friends and passionate people.
