Yuman: organic restaurant and delicatessen
Located near the BNF (National Library of France), Yuman is both an organic restaurant and delicatessen. Founded by Gilles Tessier, this restaurant uses fresh, seasonal and organic products, all cultivated less than 100 km away from Paris. These 100% organic raw materials are GM, pesticide and additive-free, and are delivered at Yuman each day.
A decoration reminiscent of an artist studio
At Yuman, we particularly like the decoration, which was designed by the renowned French interior architect Michaël Malapert. The room is a combination of raw materials like concrete, iron and glass, and recycled materials such as scaffolding planks turned into tables. As for the food, we appreciate the restaurant’s creativity, for instance with the “Bectée”, a big piece of cheese so you will not have to choose between cheese and dessert! What’s more, if you fancy a glass of wine to go with your meal, Yuman proposes a half glass, to enjoy the taste without being tipsy afterwards. This restaurant is a real favorite.
