Exhibition: Rodin
In the meantime of the exhibition “Jardins”, which will be held until July 31st 2017, the Grand Palais exhibits the main masterpieces of the French sculptor Auguste Rodin (1840-1917) for the centennial of his death. Le Baiser, Le Penseur, La Cathédrale, all of the greatest work of art of the French sculptor are unveiled until next July 31st, in partnership with the Musée Rodin de Paris. It is the occasion to discover all of the work of the one considered as the father of modern sculpture. In addition to the renovations, this retrospective also explains the influence of the artist on several generation of creators, from Picasso to Claudel, from Richier to Bourdelle, from Brancusi to Carpeaux. An event that can be discovered while wandering on the Champs-Elysées, just a few metro stations only from the Green Hotels Paris, the Eiffel Trocadéro and the Gavarni.

Closed on May 1st and July 14th 2017.

The exhibition takes part into the European Night of Museums of May 20th 2017: free admission from 8p.m. to noon.
