Since 1993, the Festival Classique au vert (Classical music in the park Festival) falls within the Parc floral de Paris' musical process, which consists of three music festivals, from June to late September every summer. Following the Paris Jazz Festival in June and July, set at the same time as Pestacles, families as well as tourists will be able to enjoy free classical music concerts on the afternoon over seven weekends. Open-air concert stages are thus set up all over the park, and spectators invade the lawns. This festival is organized in a one-of-a-kind setting of exceptional beauty, since the Parc floral de Paris has been designed according to the codes of Japanese garden aesthetics. It comprises bonsai trees, dahlias, irises, as well as sculptures created by Italian artist Volti. An unmissable event for all music and/or nature lovers.
