Founded by American actress and lifestyle guru Jessica Alba and a cool-dad, Christopher Gavigan, in order to increase the supply of eco-friendly products for babies and home as a whole, The Honest Company meets with a large-scale success. Counting actress and model Blake Lively as a notable customer, the shop's considerable distribution network is one of the keys of its success, as it ships not only on US and Canadian soil, but also worldwide! Once a registered member, the online customer selects the bundle of products he wishes to buy and has it delivered at a desired frequency (every month, for instance), with the possibility to modify the order, skip a month or even change the size of the diapers.

The Honest Company indeed offers a wide range of organic products dedicated to babies and home, whether regarding hygiene, well-being or upkeep. Customers are given the opportunity to choose among eco-friendly biodegradable diapers with colorful patterns (baseballs, anchors, flowers...), organic formula milk, aromatic soy candles, organic cotton blankets or even various vitamins, all of these free from chemicals. Although Jessica Alba's e-shop was, on April 22nd 2015, awarded the title of "Pioneer in Sustainability", the actress is however not Hollywood's only "Green Mom", since Gwyneth Paltrow, too, is committed to ecology with her fashion and nutrition advice blog, which counted, in 2013, well over 150,000 followers.
