Taishō: the pop-up terrace of the Aquarium de Paris

This summer—in addition to the exclusive visit of its backstage—the Aquarium de Paris suggests coming and curling up on its ephemeral terrace named Taishō—with view on the Eiffel Tower. Decorated in a style which pays tribute to the Taishō era in Japan in the 1920s, it offers a magical panorama on the capital. Stylish furniture and hangings, jazzy sound atmosphere, exclusive menu of Japanese dishes, everything is here to make this place your holiday spot. As a bonus, Taishō is nested at the heart of the Trocadéro Gardens—just next to the Green Hotels Paris, the Eiffel Trocadéro and the Gavarni. You come here to enjoy ultra-fresh sashimi and sushi but not only—since the menu also features the Teppanyaki, salads and sandwiches. Another flagship dish to test on the site: the homemade ravioli with lobster or pork—which melt in the mouth. Finally, Taishō also has a very good sake bar as well as a cigar case coming for the most part from Cuba—to prolong the evening under the stars.

Open from Wednesday to Sunday from 6pm to 1am, until September 30th, 2016.
Salad from €6.
