Paris Playground: the free app for family outings

The number of apps available is colossal, and it is sometimes hard to find what you really want. However, one has particularly caught our attention: Paris playground. Designed to simplify family outings in the capital, it offers to show you the nearest squares, playgrounds, merry-go-rounds and swing-sets. To locate them, you just have to enter your kids’ age, the kind of equipment you are looking for (see-saws, football goals, etc.), as well as the district you are in. The free app then does all the work for you: it geolocates the place by telling you which metro or bus station is the closest, its opening hours, and sends you to the Mairie de Paris website dedicated to that particular place.

The Paris Playground App is available for iPhone and iPad.
