Les Grands Verres: the concept-bar and restaurant of the Palais de Tokyo
Inaugurated in summer 2017, in lieu of the former Tokyo Eat restaurant, the new eco-responsible concept bar-restaurant of the Palais de Tokyo was imagined by the Quixotic Projects Company and designed by the architect Lina Ghotmeh.
A gastronomic experience…
Les Grands Verres is a stunning location with towering ceilings. Its simple but refined decoration mainly consists of raw clear wood which gives the place its natural aspect and metal luminaires which offer an undeniable touch of modernity. As for the menu, the young American head chef Preston Miller prepares seasonal dishes, subtle blends of French tradition and Mediterranean flavours. We love the freshness of the Fattoush salad, with lemon and sumac, the delicious moules au Vadouvan (mussels) with parsley butter, or the Poire rôtie (roasted pear) with coffee crumble and whipped cream.
…and eco-responsible!
Les Grands Verres is also an eco-friendly spot. Indeed, the wine served to the customers comes from large barrels —which helps reduce the excessive use of packaging— and the meal leftovers are composted! The Green Hotels Paris, the Eiffel Trocadéro and the Gavarni, located just a few-minute walk away from the restaurant, welcome the efforts by the establishment.
Fattoush salad: €11 / Moules au Vadouvan: €15 / Poire rôtie: €8.
Open every day from noon to 2:30p.m. and from 7p.m. to 11p.m.
