Les Féeries d’Auteuil light up the West of Paris
Each year, Apprentis d’Auteuil foundation organises a Christmas market for solidarity: Les Féeries d’Auteuil. 2015 is no exception to the rule and marks the 10th anniversary of the event. From December 5th to 13th, Parisians and tourists will have the opportunity to stroll about the paths of this market, brighten up with lovely wooden chalets, to find all sorts of gifts’ ideas and festive meals. Fir trees, santons of Provence, creators’ jewellery, silks, decorations, foie gras, champagne are all wonders which you are invited to discover.
A 100% family event
Everything is done to fill the children with wonder! Life-size cribs have been made by the young Apprentis d’Auteuil, on the topic: “Through History and Geography”. The little ones will also be able to go on the traditional merry-go-rounds, listen to the fanfare or attend spectacles and concerts, as the one of the conservatory’s orchestra of the 16th district.
The oldest will not be outdone: a secondhand market to bargain-hunt furniture and trinkets, as well as a “Good deal” room to find new or second-hand products at a low price, are waiting for them.
This event is the best way to spend a magical moment in family, nearby the Green Hotels Paris (the Eiffel Trocadéro and the Gavarni), while doing a good deed in favour of this foundation which helps vulnerable young people.
Les Féeries d’Auteuil, from December 5th to 13th 2015.
