A place of interactive and modern art
The space will host three stunning immersive exhibitions, which will be projected on a total surface of 3300 m2, from floor to ceiling and on 10-metre-high walls. The two rooms, La Halle (1500 m2) and le Studio (160 m2), include a total of 120 video projectors and 50 sound speakers which will magnify the digital experience of the audience. L’Atelier des Lumières will present at its opening a retrospective dedicated to the Austrian painters Gustav Klimt and Egon Schiele, who was inspired by Klimt’s work. On the spot, lovers of symbolist paintings will have the chance to admire thousands of digital works of art undulating to the rhythm of music. With its multisensory and towering installations, both visual and audible, L’Atelier des Lumières is about to become one of the capital’s most modern art locations.
