Paris has now its very first vegan dairy store called Jay & Joy. If you never tried cheese made from plant milk before, also called “vromage” by vegan people, it is now time to get started thanks to the organic and vegan products proposed in this shop.

A plant-based dairy shop
Opened in December 2016, Jay & Joy chose to settle the first vegan dairy store of Paris at the heart of the 11th arrondissement. The manufacturing laboratory is combined with a retail space, both of them thought by the architect Régis Botta in a cosy and colourful atmosphere. The Jay & Joy shop also proposes varieties of “vromage”, of “joyourt” and “cheezecake”, as well as a selection of “super foods” with the brands Sol Semilla and Happy Crulture. All of these products benefit of the Ecocert label (website in French) and are part of the Vegan Society. Besides being absolutely delicious, they are lactose and gluten free. Then try out without reserve the vegan “foie gras” made of organic cashew, deodorised coconut oil and many spices, the vromage of “Jeta Frais” with almond milk and pink salt from the Himalayas, or even the “Jay nature” joyour. Whether you be vegan or not, tasting-meetings are organised every week in the shop. Get your taste buds ready, they’re be pleasantly surprised!
