H&M embarks on the organic cosmetics
After having said no to viscose and joining forces with Kering to experiment the making of textile made of recycled fibres, the H&M brand embarks on organic beauty products with the Conscious range. It completes the collection of makeup and body care products launched in fall 2015 by the brand.
Products certified by Ecocert
Conscious includes facial care, body care and hair care: lip balm, traditional and dry shampoos, roll-on deodorants without aluminium salt, facial masks, hand cream etc. They are presented in a modern packaging, very graphic, but especially organic, as it is made from recycled materials. The body cares take inspiration from aromatherapy and are developed in two versions. The first one is revitalising, perfumed with mandarin, lemon and raisin; the second one is relaxing, made from vetiver, lavender and rosemary. As a reminder, an Ecocert label means that products contain at least 95% of ingredients of natural origin, and at least 10% from organic farming.
This range is available since last January, in a selection of stores and in the e-shop.
