The top music festivals of the summer
Following the We Love Green festival, which occurred late in May 2015, this summer promises to be filled with music festivals in Paris and its close suburbs. Electro, Rap, Pop, Techno, Rock... you are sure to find an event to suit your personal tastes and mood. Here is a list of the seven summer festivals the Green Hotels Paris particularly recommend.
Weather Festival Paris (Electro, Techno and House)
In two years, the Weather Festival Paris was rapidly pointed as one of the main events dedicated to electro music in Europe. From June 4th to June 7th 2015, it will gather the pioneers in techno and house at the heart of the Parisian Bois de Vincennes. With no less than 35,000 ravers last year, this eco-friendly festival grants importance to recycling, sorting and waste processing on site. Adventice, S3A, MCDE, Unforeseen Alliance (regrouping Zadig, Antigone, Birth Of Frequency and Voiski) or even the Henrik Schwarz - Frank Wiedemann duo (aka Schwarzmann) are among the first names to feature on the official poster.

Paris Jazz Festival (Jazz, Blues, Soul, Rhythm and blues)
In 2015, the Paris Jazz Festival opens onto the capitals that allowed African-American musical art to be one of the first actors of globalization. On the program: artists from London, Rome, New York, or even Bamako for 31 concerts spread over 8 weekends at the Parc Floral de Paris. Various activities of introduction to music will also be available over the course of this event, now the prime Jazz festival in France. The Young Pilgrims, Luca Aquino, Franck Wolf, Tambours de Tokyo, Over The Hills or even Eric Bibb will attend this 22nd edition.

Solidays (Pop, Alternative, Rock)
From June 26th to June 28th 2015, the new edition of the activist festival committed to sustainable development, Solidays, named "Keep On Dreaming", features an eclectic and appealing program. Asaf Avidan, Moriarty, Brigitte, Caribou, Angus & Julia Stone, Damian 'Jr Gong' Marley, Zoufris Maracas, Rone, or even The Avener will climb on the stage of the Longchamp Racecourse as a courtesy in order to raise funds and fight against AIDS. Attractions and awareness stands will add a playful and friendly atmosphere to this festival, now a major event of the Parisian music scene. A festival located two steps away from the Green Hotels Paris, the Eiffel Trocadéro and the Gavarni.

Days Off (Alternative, Folk, Electro)
High-standard concerts to suit rooms with pure acoustics: for the last five years, the Days Off festival has been representing one of the most exciting music festivals of the capital regarding alternative, folk and electro music. For its 6th edition, the festival will be entirely hosted in Philarmonie 2 (Cité de la Musique). Still as innovative, this event will once again assemble some of the main current artists for bewitching creations. Gaëtan Roussel, Ibeyi, Andrew Bird, Matthew E. White or even Moodoïd are already expected at the beginning of July.

Les Siestes Électroniques (Electro)
Key event of the summer, the Siestes Électroniques festival ("Electronic naps") returns to the gardens of the Musée du Quai Branly for a fourth Parisian edition. Do not expect to listen to the latest hits for the umpteenth time, because here, the DJs are known for their unusual and sometimes surprising musics. They will look into the audio archives of the museum's multimedia library in order to find sound material and allow you to travel at the sound of musics from the whole world, revisited by the artists on stage. To all the adventurous music lovers out there, this festival will take place right across from the Green Hotels Paris, you will only have to cross the Seine to attend!

FNAC LIVE Festival (Pop, Soul, Folk)
Dubbed "Top free festival" in France in 2014,the FNAC LIVE Festival returns to the square of the Parisian Hôtel de Ville for a 5th edition, which will host, like each year, favorite artists, musical discoveries and famous singers. Those the FNAC stores likes and supports throughout the entire year will share the scene of this rich and eclectic festival from July 15th to July 18th 2015. Dominique A, Nekfeu, Ibeyi, Curtis Harding, The Shoes or even Arkadin will feature this year.

Rock en Seine (Rock, Electro, Pop, Hip-Hop)
With its 60 concerts spread over 3 days, Rock en Seine is one of the key festivals of Ile-de-France to be organized in the Domaine national de Saint-Cloud. From August 28th to August 30th 2015, the greatest rock, electro and hip-hop bands will feature on the main stage, while smaller bands will catch the curious' attention on the secondary stages. The Libertines, Fuzz, Interpol, Tame Impala, Mark Lanegan Band, Gramatik or even The Chemical Brothers will attend this new edition.
