Taste of Paris festival 2nd edition
We’re here, the Taste of Paris culinary festival begun! Until February 14th next, it comes back for its second edition at the Grand Palais, in Paris, to celebrate the excellence of the French gastronomy. During four days, 18 great chefs don their apron to make discover their specialties and new creations. Producers and craftspeople from the four quarter of France are also present for numerous tastings and workshops. Created in London in 2004 and adopted by 23 towns in the world, this even delights all the gastronomy lovers.
A real gustatory trip
This year, the starred chefs Thierry Marx, Alain Ducasse or Guy Savoy, but also young talents as Pierre Sang Boyer and Stéphanie Le Quellec, offer about a sixty of dishes to taste on site, with a price more reasonable than in their restaurants. Each cook suggests three choices: two salty and one sweet, between five and twelve euros. Visitors can also go to the “Chefs’ Secret Workshop” (“Atelier Secret des Chefs”) or to the “Chefs’ Theatre” (“Théâtre des Chefs”), to learn more about their techniques. The youngest won’t be outdone with the “newbie cooks’ Workshop” (“Atelier des cuisiniers en herbe”), to awake their senses and develop, who knows, a vocation. This meeting should be lived in family or with friends, nearby the Green Hotels Paris, the Eiffel Trocadéro and the Gavarni, for a delightful moment!
