Exhibition 

On novembre the 13th, 1872 , Monet painted from his hotel room in Le Havre, a view of the port in the fog. Presented two years later under the title ´Impression, rising sun’ (1872, Paris, Marmottan museum) this painting inspired the art critic Louis Leroy,  the term ´Impressionists’ and gave this name to the group formed by Monet and his friends.
