Exhibition: Minuscules
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of its creation, the musée de la Poupée (the Doll museum) is hosting two exhibitions, including one entitled ‘Minuscules’. This retrospective dedicated to pocket dolls comes back on the evolution of children’s toys throughout the centuries. Indeed, these miniature dolls were kids’ most beloved toys between 1870 and 1914. They were appreciated by collectors too, for they came with numerous accessories – houses, furniture, clothes, etc. – which document the life at the Victorian era.
“Minuscules, l’univers des poupées de poche” exhibition, from September 23rd 2014 to January 24th 2015.
Open Tuesday-Saturday from 1pm to 6pm.
Closed on bank holidays.
Full rate: €8 / Concession (over-65s, 12-25): €6 / Children (3-11): €4.
