Exhibition: Jean-Baptiste Oudry et Julien Salaud
The Parisian Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature has invited two artists for its exhibition entitled "Les chasses nouvelles" : Jean-Baptiste Oudry et Julien Salaud (The new hunts: Jean-Baptiste Oudry and Julien Salaud). The idea of this retrospective is for 18th-century hunt-themed tapestries and contemporary works dialog with each other. Plastics-oriented artist Julien Salaud has put together seventeen works specifically for the museum, and presents, among others, the taxidermy of a deer embroidered with pearls. Jean-Baptiste Oudry has created four tapestries, all part of the "Chasse Nouvelles" (New Hunts) wall covering.

Open Tuesday to Sunday, from 11am to 6pm.
Closed on Mondays.
