Exhibition: Jardins en fête
Until February 4th 2017, the bookshop-gallery Jardins en Art dedicated to art and to gardens welcomes the first works of the sculptor Robert Arnoux and the painter Bruno Dufourmantelle. The first, Robert Arnoux (website in French), was formed at the Pierre Soulages atelier at Charenton-le-Pont (the French 94 department), and realizes abstract and refined characters which adorn some of the most beautiful gardens in France and Belgium, such as the Bagatelle one. The second shapes works of art set between realism and abstract too. Bruno Dufourmantelle (website in French) presents three abstract landscapes inspired from the plant universe, thanks to which we can admire his remarkable work of the light. The artist can thus use almost fifteen successive coats of paint before getting to the final result. “I start from dark contents to let the lights go up”, he describes.
Exhibition “Jardins en fête”, from December 8th 2016 to February 4th 2017.
Open from Monday to Saturday from 10:30a.m. to 1p.m., and from 2p.m. to 7:30p.m.
