Exhibition: Hayoun Kwon
Along with “Le Rêve des formes” (The Dream of Forms), the Palais de Tokyo is dedicating an exhibition to the Korean artist Hayoun Kwon, until September 10th, 2017. Born in 1981 in Seoul, and graduated from the Fresnoy school in 2011, Hayoun Kwon lives in South Korea and France. She has been the 2015 laureate of the Prix Découverte des Amis du Palais de Tokyo, and won many other prizes, especially in Germany. For her Parisian retrospective, the artist reveals the imaginary world of a mysterious young woman which she nicknamed “The Bird Lady”. To shape her universe, Hayoun Kwon draws from situations she lived or imagined, and uses new technologies to achieve the desired result. This event of contemporary art is available just a few-minute walk away from the Green Hotels Paris, the Eiffel Trocadéro and the Gavarni.
Exhibition “Hayoun Kwon. The Bird Lady”, from June 14th to September 10th, 2017.
Open every day except on Tuesday, from noon to 9p.m.
Full rate: €12.50 / Concessions (18-25): €9.40.
