After "La Seine", the parcs de Sceaux et des Chanteraines welcome a new exhibition dedicated to the departments of the Hauts-de-Seine and Yvelines, with “La frontière introuvable” (The untraceable border). Until December 14th, 2017, photography lovers can admire blown-up snapshots exposed outdoors, in those two exceptional green spaces. 37 photo prints are available for visitors to see, all described with a captioned label. The geographical and economic continuity of both departments are revealed in this exhibition, in particular the arrangement of the banks of the Seine, the Tramway T6 from Châtillon to Viroflay, the truck-farming agriculture of the plaine de Montesson, and even the Château de Versailles. This exhibition reveals the complementarity of both departments, their borders seeming almost invisible.

A pit. It almost seems like it is in Africa or South America. It is in the Yvelines.
There are indeed about ten pits in that department, on eight hundred of the Île-de-France six thousand hectares.
In the Yvelines, we extract mainly sands and alluvial gravel.
