Exhibition: Douglas Gordon

In 2003, the Musée d’Art moderne de la Ville de Paris (City of Paris’ Museum of Modern Art) acquired Douglas Gordon’s “Pretty much every film and video work from about 1992 until now” video installation. The museum has just added 43 new videos by the artist to its collection. Until the end of the year, the public will be able to come and discover those works, shown on 101 monitors mounted on beer crates. These films deal with the notion of memory, and the fact that a work of art is never completely achieved.

Exhibition: “Douglas Gordon: Pretty much every film and video work from about 1992 until now”, from March 7th to December, 2014.
Open Tuesday – Sunday, from 10am to 6pm.
Free entrance.
