Exhibition: From Watteau to Fragonard, the Fêtes galantes
In its new exhibition, the Musée Jacquemart-André presents 18th century French painting, and gathers for the occasion around sixty works made by masters of the genre, like Antoine Watteau, Nicolas Lancret and Jean-Baptiste Pater. All of them painted the "fête galante" (courtship party), which was the main painting trend of that time.
Exhibition: "From Watteau to Fragonard, the Fêtes galantes", from March 14th to July 21st 2014.
Open every day (even public holidays) from 10am to 6pm. Late opening on Monday and Saturday until 8:30pm.
Full rate: €11 / Concession: €9.50 (7-17s and students) / Free for the under-7s.
