Exhibition: David Hockney, The Arrival of Spring
The Parisian galerie Lelong hosts the works of the "cheekiest" British painters: David Hockney. With this free exhibition called "The Arrival of Spring", the artist revisits the genre of landscaping (fields, sunsets, forests etc.) with the help of the latest technologies available, and notably the iPad. These limited edition digital prints freeze the evolution of vegetation as well as that of light as months go by, thus reflecting canvas by Matisse, Van Gogh, or even, Picasso.
"David Hockney : The Arrival of Spring" exhibition, from May 21st to July 24th 2015.
Open Tuesday to Friday, from 10:30am to 6pm and on Saturday, from 2pm to 6:30pm.
Free entrance.
