Exhibition: Carl Andre
For the beginning of 2017, the Green Hotels Paris, the Eiffel Trocadéro and the Gavarni invite you to discover the exhibition dedicated to Carl Andre, at the Musée d’Art moderne de la Ville de Paris. Until next February 12th, the museum pays tribute to this major American artist of the 20th century, presenting about 40 monumental sculptures, as well as photographs, poems, works on paper and unclassifiable objects. It is an opportunity to learn a bit more about several artistic movements, from minimalism to conceptual art, and to land art; movements that the artist explores. Besides for the record, he is considered today as one of the greatest sculptor of the 20th century. For making his pieces of work, Carl Andre uses raw industrial materials.
