IN TRANSIT

Theatre__

Nowadays , in the transit zone of a European airport , Amir, an Iranian playwright and other travelers, immigrants or exiled, are held back by the Border Police for various questions about their visa. In parallel, in 1940, deserters, jews, artists and German opponents sought by the Wehrmacht, roam in the port of Marseille , hoping to escape from the nazi. Confronted with the Kafkaesque nonsense of administration, today’s exiled , who hope to enter Europe, meet yesterday’s who wished to escape from Europe, in a unique space . In this improbable space, suspended between present and past, everyone is in transit.
