Rocío Molina or the art of flamenco at Chaillot
After ‘Impulso’ in December 2015 and June 2016, Rocío Molina is back at the Théâtre National de Chaillot with ‘Caida del cielo’, from next November 3rd to 11th. The Spanish choreographer and dancer takes us right to Andalusia, on the traces of flamenco. This new show was thought out as a diptych—divided into two parts—where everything seems to be opposed. In the first one, Rocío Molina is alone on the stage, using her body as a tool of expression. Therefore, her gestures resonate to invade space with beauty and seriousness. In the second one, the choreographer is accompanied by musicians and makes steps that show the unique character of flamenco, between shade and light. This show is to discover very nearby the Green Hotels Paris, the Eiffel Trocadéro and the Gavarni, just in front of the Eiffel Tower, at the Trocadéro.
Show ‘Caida del cielo’ by Rocío Molina, from November 3rd to 11th, 2016.
Sessions at 3:30pm, 7:30pm or 8:30pm according to the dates.
Full rate: €35 / Reduced rate: €27 / Youth rates: €11 and €13.
