Biocoop opens an ephemeral organic store 100% loose and without wrapping
A few weeks from the COP21 launch, the Biocoop organic and fair store chain (in association with the SEMAEST) opens an ephemeral organic store 100% loose and without wrapping: Biocoop 21. Established at Château d’Eau Street in the 10th district of Paris for 2 months, this store is the unique occasion to test in life-size a new solution of environmentally-friendly consumption. The aim of this store is to develop the concept in a durable way. In 65m2, 250 references of loose organic products proposed to the customers: vegetables and fruits, grocery, and above all fresh products as butter, cheese or yoghurts. Loose wine and honey will be also available. You could grind your coffee or go back home with a preparation of almonds purée prepared on site. Around 15 to 20% of products come from less than 150 kilometers from Paris.

How it works
The concept is simple: bring your own containers to make your purchases at the store! If you don’t want to burden yourself with them, please note that Biocoop 21 store thinks about everything and provides a “jars bar”. Thus, you will have the choice between different sizes of glass jars, and labels with varied colours and patterns to customise them. They are watertight, so they will allow you to safely bring back home your products. Otherwise, the store also sells drawstring bags from a biological controlled culture, as well as “algobols”: bowls made of 100% of recyclable and sustainable seaweeds. Are you ready to go shopping in a different way?
Glass jars: from €4.
