Brut: Benallal Akrame’s wine bar
It seems that the rue Lauriston belongs to the Chef Benallal Akrame! After a Michelin-starred restaurant and a steakhouse, the chef has just opened a third establishment in the same street: a wine bar called Brut. When you enter it, you are immediately transported somewhere else, in a cellar both modern and rustic with its exposed stone walls, its light wooden furniture and its bright red tones. There are about a hundred types of wines that you can enjoy by the glass or by the bottle. To go with the drink, you can eat Basque pork products from Eric Ospital, a Basque pork butcher, as well as ripened cheese provided by Rodolphe Le Meunier, who was named Meilleur Ouvrier de France (best Cheesemonger of France) in 2007.
Open every day from 3pm to midnight.
About €30 à la carte.
