Animaná: alpaca clothing
Animaná is the story of Adriana Marina, keen on the Andean culture and handicraft. Native of Patagonia, she decided to create this brand in order to increase the value of communities of the high slopes of the Andes’s know-how, by preserving their culture with these key terms: fair trade and local development.
A range of items for women and for home
The designer proposes a range of home accessories (plaids, blankets etc.) and women’s clothing (scarf, poncho etc.) made of natural fibres from the Patagonia and the Andes animals: the alpaca, the baby alpaca, the vicuna, the guanaco and the merino. Each product is manufactured according to ancestral traditions and in a hand-made way. The fibres are sheared and shaped in order to have a modern finish and are then dyed with natural pigments. We fall for the Alma shawl, ideal for this season and we still hesitate between warm or lighter clothes, made in baby alpaca fibres. The Animaná collections are available online or directly in the store, in the 6th district of Paris.
Open Tuesday-Saturday from 11am to 7pm.
Closed on Sunday and Monday.
“Alma” shawl: €90.
“Dada Throw” plaid: €225.
