Raise Ho! The Marine Museum set sail for 2021


From March 31st 2017, the national Marine Museum will be closed for renovations until 2021. Before closing its doors, it organises a week of varied activities for families, from March 25th to 31st 2017, a few blocks away from the Green Hotels Paris, the Eiffel Trocadéro and the Gavarni.

Many free activities
To discover differently the museum before it closes, the public is invited to a multitude of fun, festive and free activities. Alone, with your friends or family, there is one for everyone’s taste: guided and dramatized tour, treasure hunt and naval battle, immersion under the sea thanks to an augmented reality headset, or even Swedish gym. Sessions of meditation listening to singing whales are also scheduled, as well an embroidery, an origami and a sea-themed make-up workshops. Thanks to the stands of the French national navy, children and adults can be initiated to seamanship. In addition to this, the music of the karaoke and the marine costume ball will be heard in the collections of the museum, especially organised for toddlers on Saturday, March 25th 2017. At last, an ephemeral boutique of Filles du Bord de Mer gathering several French designers inspired by the sea and the ocean. Let’s discover or rediscover the museum before its renovation!

Free admission for all to the museum and the animations.
