La Nuit aux Invalides celebrates the 100th anniversary of World War I
La Nuit aux Invalides is returning for its 6th edition, from June 27th to September 1st, 2018. This year, the audio-visual summer show is entitled "1918, the birth of a new world". Designed by French screenwriter Bruno Seillier, this new creation commemorates the centenary of the First World War (1914-1918). Like every year, this unique event offers an exceptional image quality thanks to the latest video mapping technologies and state-of-the-art 4K laser projectors. The audience will thus be able to discover the moving story of young Martin, a child from the province exiled in Paris and lost in the turmoil of one of the most memorable periods in history. A 45-minute performance composed of 35 sequences told by major figures of French dubbing: Benoît Allemane, Céline Duhamel, Céline Monsarrat and Kaycie Chase. Lastly, visitors will be able to prolong their evening with a candle-lit night walk staged by Bruno Seillier in the Eglise du Dôme (Dome Church).
