This year, for its 41st edition, the Marjolaine Salon, France's largest organic market, is celebrating the bee. From 5th to 13th November 2016, this salon dedicated to everything organic, which is held at the Parc Floral de Paris, welcomes 550 ecofriendly exhibitors of clothing, beauty, food, tourism, health and the habitat. For the 2016 edition, the public is invited to find out more about bees, nicknamed "the sentinel of the environment and biodiversity". There are honey based cooking workshops, workshops on how to make hives (a bee's natural habitat), a treasure hunt for youngsters, and lectures on beekeeping programmed. The organisers want to make visitors aware of the very important role of this insect in the pollination of our fruit, vegetables and flowers.
