33rd edition of the international environmental film festival
Since its creation in 1992, the FIFE works on gathering cinema, audiovisual media and environment in order to raise awareness of the planet’s fragility among the general public. This event broaches diverse subjects as sustainable development or ecology.
Screenings which urge us to reflect
From April 5th to 12th 2016, about 100 films from around the world will be suggested to the public, all concerning initiatives to move the world forward. The international environmental film festival takes place at the Cinéma des Cinéastes, in the 17th district of Paris, but also in several partner places of Ile-de-France. This new edition will start with a spectacular film, “Hurricane”, by Cyril Barbançon, Andy Byatt and Jacqueline Farmer, which will transport the public in the amazing journey of this climate giant. This 2016 edition proposes a focus on Brazil to understand better the ecological issues and its changes. This festival highlights positive and concrete initiatives, and enables to see what could be tomorrow’s world…
