From 15th to 16th September, 2018, the RecycLivreDays are back for their 3rd edition, place de la République, in Paris. For the occasion, an open-air library will be installed on the square, with reading rooms specially equipped for literature lovers. Behind this event that gives a second life to books - indeed the principle is to bring books you have already read to be recycled - hides RecycLivre which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year! For “10 books donated, 1 euro” is donated by RecycLivre to the association “Lire et Faire Lire” (website only available in French). In the two previous editions, 33,000 books were deposited by Parisians and tourists. They were then, depending on their condition, restored for resale on the RecycLivre site, or recycled. Many activities await the curious and passionate readers during these two literary days.
