27th Edition of the Open-Air Cinema at La Villette

This year, the 27th edition of the Open-Air Cinema Festival at La Villette takes place from July 20th to August 20th, 2017. Each year, this event, always free and convivial, reunites amateur cinematographers to partake in a friendly atmosphere, projecting films onto the big screen in an open-air setting. This year’s programme focuses on the food. Over the course of 20 summer evenings, discover short films by unknown directors, such as Claude Barras, Maud Alpi and Laurent Teyssier, alongside cult works directed by the biggest names in cinema, from Wes Anderson’s “The Grand Budapest Hotel” (2014), to the American Martin Scorsese’s “Goodfellas” (1990), or even “Sweet Bean” (2015) by the Japanese writer and director, Naomi Kawase. Moreover, the 2017 edition of the Open-Air Cinema Festival at La Villette includes its younger audience, with screenings of “Ratatouille” (2007), and the musical motion picture, “Peau d’Ane” (1970). The perfect opportunity to take advantage of a summer’s evening in Paris, with your family!
