Nuit Blanche 2015: the 14th edition is dedicated to the environment

Paris' 14th Nuit Blanche will take place on Saturday. This year the event is taking place in the north of the capital and there are two different routes designed by, among others, José-Manuel Gonçalvès, the director of 104, who is Nuit Blanche's artistic director for the second year running. The first route is in the north-west, from Parc Monceau (Paris 8) as far as Petite Ceinture (Paris 18). The second is in the north-east, from the Gare du Nord (Paris 10) as far as Aubervilliers (93), a suburb of Paris. There is a third, smaller route, called "Tangente", in the 18th arrondissement, from the Recyclerie to Halle Pajol.

The 14th edition is dedicated to the environment
Nuit Blanche
is part of COP21 so its central theme is the environment. Of the more than one hundred artistic projects presented as part of Nuit Blanche many have taken the planet as their subject. For example, Julius Popp has a truly poetic work on the bridge of the Rue de l’Aqueduc. A statistical algorithm and a software program have enabled him to create a waterfall of words reminding us of our climatic problems, all formed from hundreds of drops of water.

14th Nuit Blanche, October 3rd, 2015.
Free.
