The 12th edition of the Fête de la Nature celebrates the invisible
As of today, and until May 27th, 2018, the Fête de la Nature is returning for its 12th edition in Paris, as well as in several other major French cities. As usual, this nature-focused event offers a rich and exciting programme with a very original theme: “Voir l’invisible” (“Seeing the invisible”). Adults and children are invited to discover the hidden biodiversity of the Jardin des Plantes, through fun and free activities, such as discovering the secret life of the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle beehives (National History Museum). The latter is also organising various guided tours which will delight fauna and flora lovers. The rose breeders of the site will explain the secrets of their work and how they manage to tame the 390 varieties of the queen of flowers used in the heart of the Jardin des roses (Rose Garden). Initiations to the public are also planned. Indeed, aspiring gardeners will have the opportunity to learn how to repot small plants, how to plant a seed, or even to observe the secret beauty of flowers under a microscope. This year, the Fête de la Nature treats all our senses!
12th edition of the Fête de la Nature, from the 23rd to the 27th of May, 2018.
