Exhibition: Regards de femmes
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, which is celebrated on March 8th every year, the galerie Hegoa is hosting the work of 6 female artists – photographers Sarah Caron, Sabine Weiss, Marie Dorigny, Isabel Muñoz, Marianne Rosenstiehl and plastic artist Gabriella Zalapi. This free exhibition entitled “Regards de femmes” (“Women’s viewpoints”) intends to spotlight the artists’ perception of womanhood throughout the world and the multiple facets of femininity. Among other things, visitors will recognize famous women, such as Juliette Binoche – whose natural charm was portrayed by the star’s photographer Marianne Rosenstiehl – and admire the beauty of young Indian women immortalised by Sabine Weiss.
“Regards de femmes” exhibition, from February 24th to March 29th 2015.
Open Tuesday-Saturday, from 11am to 1pm and from 2pm to 7pm.
Free entrance.
